This is a per diem position in our Culinary (food services) Department. Position will have varied start times:
Early shift is 4:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. latest shift is 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Must be able to work some weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities:
The Nutrition Assistant may perform a combination of tasks including food preparation and serving, equipment cleaning, supply stocking, cash register operation, working in cafeteria and with patient food service.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience: Prefer experience in Food Service in a hospital environment. Technical Skills: Prefer experience with Food Service equipment.
Other qualifications/certificate/license: Ability to understand and communicate clearly in English to provide appropriate responses, assistance and explanations to customers, supervisors and coworkers.
